Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. A very good chance for a goal. 12 minutes into the match, Volcán AFC's goalkeeper Joaquin Misael had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carmelo Celio. In the 12th minute, Ambrosio Loreto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 15 minutes, Fidel Boni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Volcán AFC and the Brea players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 15 played minutes Volcán AFC got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Boni. Carmelo Celio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tiburcio Indar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25thth minute of the game Mariano Montes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Volcán AFC's Joaquin Misael was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Brea's Tomas Matai got a free kick in the 30th minute. After 31 played minutes, Volcán AFC's Godofredo Aimar shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Filiberto Eate came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Volcán AFC reached it. Joaquin Misael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mariano Montes in the 37th minute of play. Sixto Bibiano kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Volcán AFC's Joaquin Misael proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Volcán AFC from getting a goal against them. Mariano Montes was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 40th minute. Brea's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Volcán AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Carmelo Celio scored to the left of an out of position Joaquin Misael, making the score, 1-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tiburcio Indar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Brea's Carmelo Celio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joaquin Misael narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Carmelo Celio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Misael was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 59th minute, but Filiberto Eate got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Brea hanging dry this time. In the 85th minute, Tiburcio Indar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Eliseo Cucao came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Volcán AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Cucao couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mariano Montes in the 89th minute of play forced Volcán AFC's goalkeeper Joaquin Misael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Carmelo Celio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tiburcio Indar's late challenge caught a Brea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiburcio Indar helped the player get up and apologised. After 96 played minutes Volcán AFC got a freekick which was hit by Tiburcio Indar.
