After a defensive mix-up in Alicia AFC's zone, Mariano Montes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Eguerdi came out of the goal and Mariano Montes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Brea booed when Alicia AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Weterio didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Diego Liher's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Filiberto Eate was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Diego Liher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carmelo Celio struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. David Eguerdi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brea. David Eguerdi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Celio, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Alicia AFC's David Eguerdi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Celio in the 28th minute of play. Filiberto Eate took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Liher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the match, Brea's Carmelo Celio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that David Eguerdi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Siro Calisto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filiberto Eate read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Mariano Montes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. David Eguerdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariano Montes took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Eguerdi. David Eguerdi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diego Liher stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Carmelo Celio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Filiberto Eate showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Liher in the 55th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siro Calisto in the 59th minute of play forced Brea's goalkeeper Filiberto Eate to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd minute, Eliseo Weterio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Filiberto Eate was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. When Carmelo Celio came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Brea fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carmelo Celio couldn't finish the play. Filiberto Eate showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Liher, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Diego Liher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carmelo Celio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. David Eguerdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Eguerdi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariano Montes's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Carmelo Celio took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Eguerdi. David Eguerdi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Lucas Chan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. David Eguerdi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariano Montes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
