The referee ignored Uribelarrea AFC's protests and gave Emilio Iratxo a yellow card for diving instead. After 4 played minutes Uribelarrea AFC got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Iratxo. 7 minutes into the game, Angelo Donio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Godofredo Franco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 18th minute Angelo Donio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godofredo Franco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Min in the 21st minute of play forced Oriente's goalkeeper Rafael Guib to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nestor Mikolas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rafael Guib having to make a save. Eliseo Ihazintu charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eliseo Ihazintu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eliseo Ihazintu kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Nestor Mikolas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Guib having to interfere. Jonatan Cordarell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emilio Iratxo was shown his second yellow card after 31 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 32 played minutes Uribelarrea AFC got a freekick which was hit by Emilio Iratxo. Dante Cruz's late challenge caught a Oriente's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dante Cruz helped the player get up and apologised. The referee gave Oriente a penalty, 37 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Anastasio Kauldi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Uribelarrea AFC's Godofredo Franco. 0-2. The Uribelarrea AFC fans' excitement grew in the 44th match minute when Uribelarrea AFC's Nestor Mikolas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nestor Mikolas was the one to do the kick off. Angelo Donio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Angelo Donio in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Godofredo Franco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonatan Cordarell struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Godofredo Franco didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Oriente. Angelo Donio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Godofredo Franco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Angelo Donio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Aristides Oskitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafael Guib showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Mikolas in the 83rd minute of the match. 84 minutes into the game, Nestor Min was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Uribelarrea AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Oriente the free kick. Nestor Min kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After having played for 86 minutes, Jonatan Cordarell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oriente's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jonatan Cordarell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Godofredo Franco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Donio in the 95th minute of the match. The supporters of Oriente booed when Uribelarrea AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nestor Mikolas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Oriente walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
