Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Tupungata's Vinicio Gaufred started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vinicio Gaufred received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Higinio Colon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mauricio Jerrald's late challenge caught a Candelaria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauricio Jerrald helped the player get up and apologised. Celestino Aresti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vinicio Gaufred received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Higinio Colon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Celestino Aresti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tupungata's supporters rose to their feet, but Celestino Aresti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Higinio Colon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Celestino Aresti came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Tupungata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celestino Aresti couldn't finish the play. 31 minutes into the match, Tupungata's goal looked a bit too open when German Servando came free, but Joel Panfilo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 32 played minutes Tupungata got a freekick which was hit by Artemio Marz. When Dionisio Cefero fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Candelaria's protests and gave Dionisio Cefero a yellow card for diving instead. Dionisio Cefero kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Sixto Chinto took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Higinio Colon. Candelaria's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With an all-out effort, Candelaria's Joel Panfilo threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from German Servando, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. German Servando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tupungata's Joel Panfilo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by German Servando in the 41st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tupungata's zone, German Servando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joel Panfilo came out of the goal and German Servando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when German Servando stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that German Servando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joel Panfilo was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. If German Servando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joel Panfilo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dionisio Cefero in the 58th minute of the match. After 58 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tupungata! The referee gave Candelaria a penalty, 61 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eulalio Osorio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tupungata's Joel Panfilo. 1-0. Higinio Colon was a little too slow when Mauricio Jerrald got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 66th minute. The score was now 1-1. A collision led to Candelaria getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Dionisio Cefero hit a great ball. Dionisio Cefero kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Julian Tino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tupungata's Joel Panfilo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Tino in the 80th minute of play. In the 84th minute Julian Tino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Panfilo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celestino Aresti blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Higinio Colon having to make a save. Santos Bertin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Higinio Colon having to interfere. The Tupungata supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Tupungata would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
