Higinio Colon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Guaberto Guillem put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Higinio Colon. After having played for 10 minutes, Urbano Donio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Villada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urbano Donio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Saul Guillelmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from German Servando in the 13th minute of play. Guaberto Guillem's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 14thth minute, Higinio Colon skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 15 minutes, Julian Tino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Candelaria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julian Tino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Urbano Donio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th minute Urbano Donio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Higinio Colon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers German Servando in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saul Guillelmo saved Villada from getting behind. Julian Tino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Saul Guillelmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Tino in the 34th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Julian Tino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Candelaria's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Tino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saul Guillelmo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 38 played minutes Candelaria got a freekick which was hit by Eulalio Osorio. In the 39th minute, Urbano Donio fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Primitivo Hitz's late challenge caught a Candelaria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Primitivo Hitz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Candelaria booed when Villada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Hitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Candelaria's Eulalio Osorio broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Urbano Donio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Julian Tino got free with Saul Guillelmo in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Romeo Lizer kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Guaberto Guillem managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villada's supporters rose to their feet, but Guaberto Guillem was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saul Guillelmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from German Servando, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Guaberto Guillem sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julian Tino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Saul Guillelmo having to interfere. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Candelaria's goalkeeper Higinio Colon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Guaberto Guillem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. German Servando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 88th minute, but Saul Guillelmo got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Villada hanging dry this time. 91 minutes into the match, Candelaria's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Lizer came free, but Higinio Colon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Higinio Colon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guaberto Guillem went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Villada were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Candelaria for a fine match.
