Inocencio Bernat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Luciano Arnalt made a huge save. 4 minutes into the match, Panquehá's goalkeeper Luciano Arnalt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Inocencio Bernat. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saturnino Liher in the 8th minute of play forced Nequen's goalkeeper Enrique Dunixi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Nequen's Artemio Nataniel slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Luciano Arnalt. That made the score 1-0 after 9 minutes of play. Artemio Nataniel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luciano Arnalt having to interfere. Jeremias Urki hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Nequen defense, Laureano Veremundo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enrique Dunixi. The Nequen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enrique Dunixi should have stopped the shot. Laureano Veremundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Enrique Dunixi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 31 played minutes Nequen got a freekick which was hit by Lucas Lartaun. Saturnino Liher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Saturnino Liher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saverio Txaran in the 47th minute of play forced Nequen's goalkeeper Enrique Dunixi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Enrique Dunixi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Txaran, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Nequen's zone, Saturnino Liher stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enrique Dunixi came out of the goal and Saturnino Liher tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luciano Arnalt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Inocencio Bernat, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. In the 73rd minute, Laureano Veremundo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Panquehá fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2.
