After 7 minutes, Isidoro Bernat mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Claromeco and the Hoyón AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 7 minutes into the game, one of Claromeco:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonardo Dino got free with Federico Urtsua in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hoyón AFC's Bruno Micael got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pedro Romelio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joaquin Ishmael's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. 22 minutes into the match, Hoyón AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Elia came free, but Federico Urtsua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paulo Elia in the 31st minute of play forced Hoyón AFC's goalkeeper Federico Urtsua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonardo Dino got free with Federico Urtsua in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 37 minutes into the match, Hoyón AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Elia came free, but Federico Urtsua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 38 minutes, Leonardo Dino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Claromeco's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonardo Dino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Jeremias Martxot fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hoyón AFC's protests and gave Jeremias Martxot a yellow card for diving instead. Paulo Elia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Leonardo Dino came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Claromeco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonardo Dino couldn't finish the play. Paulo Elia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Federico Urtsua having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Paulo Elia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Leonardo Dino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Federico Urtsua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claromeco's Pedro Romelio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Claromeco from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonardo Dino in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Federico Urtsua saved Hoyón AFC from getting behind. When Amadeo Koldobika fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hoyón AFC's protests and gave Amadeo Koldobika a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hoyón AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 76th minute. Penalty! After some careless play in the Hoyón AFC defense, Leonardo Dino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Federico Urtsua. The Hoyón AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Federico Urtsua should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquin Ishmael got free with Pedro Romelio in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paulo Elia might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Federico Urtsua. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulo Elia ran back to his position shaking his head. Hoyón AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
