An unexpectedly hard shot by Antonio Iigo in the 28th minute of play forced Pozuelos FC's goalkeeper Modesto Markel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Fontezuela FC's Ovidio Montrel in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Modesto Markel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Fernan Txilar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Delmiro Porfiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Guillelmo, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Sergio Lluciano charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sergio Lluciano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Pozuelos FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Sergio Lluciano hit a great ball. If Ovidio Montrel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Pozuelos FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Fontezuela FC for much of the match.
