After a rather tough play, Chacarita FC's Vicente Duardo got a free kick in the 14th minute. Salada AFC's Cristian Vergaray got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amado Luar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Teodosio Ixidor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Salada AFC's goalkeeper Teodosio Ixidor, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Amado Luar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teodosio Ixidor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximino Deunoro in the 22nd minute. In the 24th minute, Tomas Argenis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Vergaray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saul Inautzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danilo Cordaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Inautzi in the 30th minute of the match. The supporters of Salada AFC booed when Chacarita FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Garaona didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Vergaray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Salada AFC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Saul Inautzi hit a great ball. In the 45th minute Cristian Vergaray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Cordaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Inautzi in the 47th minute of play forced Chacarita FC's goalkeeper Danilo Cordaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Salada AFC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 55 minutes, Tomas Argenis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chacarita FC and the Salada AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tomas Argenis kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. When Gilberto Etxatxu fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salada AFC's protests and gave Gilberto Etxatxu a yellow card for diving instead. After 57 played minutes Salada AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Etxatxu. With a little luck, Chacarita FC's Danilo Cordaro got control of the ball when Cristian Vergaray tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Inautzi in the 65th minute of play forced Chacarita FC's goalkeeper Danilo Cordaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danilo Cordaro came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Salada AFC's Saul Inautzi. But to his dismay, Saul Inautzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Ciro Urdaspal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Danilo Cordaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Chacarita FC booed when Salada AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciro Urdaspal didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Tomas Chano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 82 minutes of play, Chacarita FC's Maximino Deunoro made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teodosio Ixidor was left in no man's land by his defense there! Orlando Raymundo hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Maximino Deunoro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Teodosio Ixidor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Chacarita FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Salada AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Salada AFC.
