Ruben Ipar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adan Larra's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Jose Natal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 20th minute of the match Mauricio Hunfredo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Celestino Abaurre skillfully saved the ball. In the 38th minute, Danilo Hartz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Hartz in the 48th minute of play forced Saladillo AFC's goalkeeper Ruben Ipar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Celestino Abaurre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Malvin in the 56th minute of play. Anier Eyague kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jose Natal couldn't finish the play. Raimundo Malvin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Abaurre having to interfere. In the 91stth minute of the game Raimundo Malvin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saira's Celestino Abaurre was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Saladillo AFC's Ruben Ipar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Larra in the 94th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
