Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Roque Quico kicked off to start the match. Hugo Sein made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Quico in the 4th minute of play. With a little luck, Balcozna's Ubaldo Matro got control of the ball when Apolo Cheche tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 8th minute, Fidel Procopio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Balcozna's Arturo Batista got a free kick in the 10th minute. Nestor Cai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Matro having to interfere. Arturo Batista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Hugo Sein tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dionisio Edwardo charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dionisio Edwardo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When Dionisio Edwardo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 19 minutes had been played. In the 20th minute, Dionisio Edwardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Manuel Leizarraga from long distance, 21 minutes into the match, got Ubaldo Matro's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Paganini's Hugo Sein played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arturo Batista in the 22nd minute of play. In the 25thth minute of the game Nestor Cai who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Balcozna's Ubaldo Matro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Paganini booed when Balcozna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elpidio Eutropio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Balcozna's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Cai came free, but Ubaldo Matro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Arturo Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elpidio Eutropio hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Paganini's Manuel Leizarraga couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 35th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Balcozna. A collision led to Balcozna getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Damaso Rito hit a great ball. Feliberto Poncianos short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Ubaldo Matro to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Damaso Rito's late challenge caught a Paganini's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Damaso Rito helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Balcozna's Damaso Rito got a free kick in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Cai in the 44th minute of play forced Balcozna's goalkeeper Ubaldo Matro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Nestor Cai managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paganini's supporters rose to their feet, but Nestor Cai was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ubaldo Matro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nestor Cai stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Arturo Batista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Roque Quico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Paganini getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Sebastian Turi hit a great ball. Ubaldo Matro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Cai in the 66th minute of the match. Hugo Sein made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arturo Batista in the 72nd minute. Damaso Rito kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. In the 80th minute, Sebastian Turi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Feliberto Ponciano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ubaldo Matro. Balcozna's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Feliberto Ponciano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Paganini's Feliberto Ponciano got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Feliberto Ponciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Ubaldo Matro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
