Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Chascomús's Teodosio Estebano started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Teodosio Estebano struck a weak shot in the 5th minute. Silvio Videl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chascomús. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodosio Estebano in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvio Videl saved Empedrado AFC from getting behind. If Anselmo Karlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ariel Sindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nunez Ekaitz having to interfere. In the 20thth minute of the game Ariel Sindo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chascomús's Nunez Ekaitz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Ulises Gervaso fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chascomús's protests and gave Ulises Gervaso a yellow card for diving instead. Ulises Gervaso kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Anselmo Karlo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Chascomús's Nunez Ekaitz. Nunez Ekaitz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Evaristo Claude fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Empedrado AFC's protests and gave Evaristo Claude a yellow card for diving instead. Evaristo Claude hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. When Teodosio Estebano came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Chascomús fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodosio Estebano couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Claude in the 46th minute of play forced Chascomús's goalkeeper Nunez Ekaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th play minute Lorenzo Garoa came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Silvio Videl. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ariel Sindo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Silvio Videl didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Teodosio Estebano went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. If Anselmo Karlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Buinton hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Lorenzo Garoa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chascomús's supporters rose to their feet, but Lorenzo Garoa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvio Videl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeronimo Abecia during the 66th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Chascomús getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Jeronimo Abecia hit a great ball. Silvio Videl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Garoa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lorenzo Garoa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After recieving a nice pass, Empedrado AFC's Mauro Peli tried to score from far away in the 89th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpected shot in the 99th minute by Anselmo Karlo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Empedrado AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
