Ricardo Benvido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Ruben Galo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Prudencio Sendoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Galo having to interfere. Ricardo Benvido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Ruben Galo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Prudencio Sendoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ricardo Benvido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paolo Lobo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfredo Ekialde in the 23rd minute of the match. Ruben Galo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ricardo Benvido in the 25th minute of play. Ricardo Benvido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Prudencio Sendoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Galo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ricardo Benvido in the 31st minute of play forced Leguizamón's goalkeeper Ruben Galo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paolo Lobo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Martino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 34th match minute, Aguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciriaco Peruanton to maneuver through the defense. Fernando Martino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Leguizamón's Alfredo Ekialde sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paolo Lobo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Leguizamón defense, Prudencio Sendoa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruben Galo. The Leguizamón fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruben Galo should have stopped the shot.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfredo Ekialde to strike the kick off in the second half. Ruben Galo came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Aguay's Ricardo Benvido. But to his dismay, Ricardo Benvido quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. A collision led to Aguay getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Lino Olayo hit a great ball. In the 59th minute, Alfredo Ekialde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 64th minute Ricardo Benvido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruben Galo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 65 played minutes Leguizamón got a freekick which was hit by Bernabe Kaiet. Ruben Galo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Prudencio Sendoa in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74thth minute of the game Ricardo Benvido who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leguizamón's Ruben Galo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ciriaco Peruanton kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Alfredo Ekialde blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Paolo Lobo having to make a save. Alfredo Ekialde received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Paolo Lobo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Ekialde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alfredo Ekialde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 92 played minutes Aguay got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Bertol. In the 94th minute, Alfredo Ekialde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paolo Lobo made a fantastic save in the 98th minute, when Fernando Martino sent off a good shot on target. Aguay's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
