If Rodrigo Bixintxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 16th minute Bartolo Saturnin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basilio Fliz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusebio Gomez hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. If Rodrigo Bixintxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Viamonte FC's Armando Foro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruperto Ricart in the 27th minute of play. Ruperto Ricart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Filomeno Calvino in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Armando Foro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ruperto Ricart struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Armando Foro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmarcito AFC. Armando Foro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Filomeno Calvino went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 47 minutes into the game, Eusebio Gomez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Viamonte FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palmarcito AFC the free kick. In the 47th match minute, Viamonte FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebio Gomez to maneuver through the defense. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ruperto Ricart made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Evaristo Canor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Armando Foro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filomeno Calvino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Foro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ruperto Ricart, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Filomeno Calvino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Armando Foro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. The Viamonte FC fans' excitement grew in the 73rd match minute when Viamonte FC's Rodrigo Bixintxo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 76th minute, Damian Estefan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 78 minutes into the match, Palmarcito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Canor came free, but Basilio Fliz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquin Esquipula kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. If Bartolo Saturnin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Ruperto Ricart managed to get in a good position for a shot. Palmarcito AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruperto Ricart was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Armando Foro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Rodrigo Bixintxo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Viamonte FC's goalkeeper Armando Foro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
