Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jonas Iban got the match started through his kick off. In the 7th minute, Virgilio Mikeldi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Camilo Victoro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Rolado having to interfere. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Esperanza AFC's goalkeeper Rosendo Rolado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Camilo Victoro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute Camilo Victoro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rosendo Rolado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Fátima booed when Esperanza AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilfredo Frechoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaudencio Marques in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rosendo Rolado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Damaso Tello fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fátima's protests and gave Damaso Tello a yellow card for diving instead. If Urbano Gorbea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 29 minutes into the match, Esperanza AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaudencio Marques came free, but Rosendo Rolado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hernan Berdoi's late challenge caught a Fátima's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The tension between the Fátima and the Esperanza AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Fátima getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Edelmiro Macario hit a great ball. Esperanza AFC's Sebastian Santiago couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 41st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Fátima. In the 47th minute Wilfredo Frechoso suffered a foot injury and had to be helped off the field. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Gaudencio Marques made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Fátima was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damaso Tello to maneuver through the defense. Fátima's Aquiles Padro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urbano Gorbea in the 58th minute of play. In the 65th minute of the match Severino Markel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rosendo Rolado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Esperanza AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Severino Markel was slow to take the kick. During this time Fátima's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Fátima getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Damaso Tello hit a great ball. In the 89th match minute, Esperanza AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Santiago to maneuver through the defense. After 90 played minutes, Fátima's Severino Markel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rosendo Rolado came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fátima reached it. In the 97th minute, Hilario Orain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Fátima players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
