An unexpectedly hard shot by Cecilio Vidal in the 20th minute of play forced Velloso FC's goalkeeper Eusebio Truylos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Prospero Vedillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Argina, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabricio Naldo during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 28th match minute, Canteras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabricio Naldo to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute Iker Nahia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Prospero Vedillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Velloso FC's Iker Nahia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Prospero Vedillo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 47 minutes into the match, Velloso FC's goalkeeper Eusebio Truylos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iker Olando. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cecilio Vidal was the one to do the kick off. Canteras's Prospero Vedillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Canteras from getting a goal against them. If Cecilio Vidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 61st minute of the match Vladimiro Unax completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Vladimiro Unax a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 62 played minutes Velloso FC got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Unax. 63 minutes into the match, Gonzalo Perpinya notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Velloso FC's Eusebio Truylos. Eusebio Truylos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 66 played minutes Canteras got a freekick which was hit by Fabricio Naldo. In the 68th match minute, Velloso FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Inocencio Rosario to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute of the match Gonzalo Perpinya sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eusebio Truylos skillfully saved the ball. Iker Olando scored 2-0 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eusebio Truylos, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 85 played minutes Canteras got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Lleir. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by Canteras's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Inocencio Rosario was slow to take the kick. During this time Velloso FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Inocencio Rosario almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Canteras's Prospero Vedillo did a great save. Rolando Argina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Prospero Vedillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Ixona sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Iker Nahia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
