Adan Pancho hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luciano Balesio during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Bocayuva getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Luciano Balesio hit a great ball. Escoya FC's Flavio Kelemen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsenio Txurio in the 19th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipe Ermano got free with Venancio Licerio in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arsenio Txurio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Flavio Kelemen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arsenio Txurio struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Flavio Kelemen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bocayuva. Flavio Kelemen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Txurio in the 33rd minute of play. After 34 played minutes Escoya FC got a freekick which was hit by Fidel Javiero. After having played for 38 minutes, Gilberto Urko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Escoya FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilberto Urko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Venancio Licerio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Urko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gilberto Urko to make the kick off. Flavio Kelemen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Txurio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bocayuva's Ciriaco Tadzio got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andres Jokin hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 58th match minute, Escoya FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Urko to maneuver through the defense. Ciriaco Tadzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavio Kelemen having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Ermano in the 72nd minute of play forced Bocayuva's goalkeeper Venancio Licerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilberto Urko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Venancio Licerio having to interfere. A collision led to Bocayuva getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Luciano Balesio hit a great ball. Felipe Ermano scored 2-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Venancio Licerio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Escoya FC's Fidel Javiero got a free kick in the 88th minute. If Arsenio Txurio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Escoya FC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Ciro Batista hit a great ball. Bocayuva's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
