Evelio Iigo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquilino Roderigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Rodolfo Tono kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Evelio Iigo. That made the score 1-0 in the 6 minute of play. When Florentino Luken came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Charatas AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florentino Luken couldn't finish the play. When Raul Mon fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Elortondo AFC's protests and gave Raul Mon a yellow card for diving instead. Raul Mon hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Norberto Medero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Anselmo Cordera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Charatas AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Roderigo came free, but Evelio Iigo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norberto Medero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Cordera having to interfere. Evelio Iigo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquilino Roderigo in the 33rd minute of the match. Elortondo AFC's Rodolfo Tono suffered a concussion after 34 minutes and had to leave the field. If Wilfredo Isadore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 43 minutes, Raul Mon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Elortondo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Mon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wilfredo Isadore to strike the kick off in the second half. Evelio Iigo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilfredo Isadore in the 52nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Norberto Medero got free with Anselmo Cordera in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cosme Ponciano hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Anselmo Cordera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentino Luken in the 67th minute of the match. Florentino Luken sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 71 minutes, Jose Pepillo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Charatas AFC and the Elortondo AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jose Pepillo kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. Florentino Luken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Cordera having to interfere. A collision led to Elortondo AFC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Aquilino Roderigo hit a great ball. Norberto Medero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Cordera having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Charatas AFC's Florentino Luken sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anselmo Cordera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Norberto Medero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florentino Luken ran back to his position shaking his head. Rafael Elazar hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Florentino Luken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Cordera having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Elortondo AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Charatas AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
