In the 13th minute Americo Eliazar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Goyo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 minutes, Ulises Enaut mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Puchuzún and the Mogotes players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mogotes's Melchor Bizen got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Puchuzún's Guido Maureo got a free kick in the 33rd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Melchor Bizen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mogotes's supporters rose to their feet, but Melchor Bizen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bernardo Montrell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Melchor Bizen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Montrell having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 42nd minute by Joaquin Panfilo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Joaquin Panfilo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Donato Telesforo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-1 in the 82nd playminute. Bernardo Montrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Panfilo in the 86th minute of play. Mogotes's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Sixto Unai in the 88th minute. Sixto Unai made a great header on Mogotes's corner, it was just that Puchuzún's Bernardo Montrell managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 90th minute, Puchuzún's Americo Eliazar ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dario Goyo. Dario Goyo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2.
