Damaso Osoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melchor Bizen in the 9th minute of the match. Feliberto Veremundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 12th minute, Venancio Bonifaco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Feliberto Veremundo in the 19thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Dario Goyo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 29 minutes of play, Ceibal FC's Feliberto Veremundo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dario Goyo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Venancio Bonifaco hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ignacio Nahia during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Ceibal FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Ignacio Nahia hit a great ball. Damaso Osoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Panfilo, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. After a rather tough play, Ceibal FC's Vladimiro Bidun got a free kick in the 41st minute. Fabio Sayveon struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Damaso Osoro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mogotes. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Melchor Bizen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Melchor Bizen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Damaso Osoro having to make a save. After 55 minutes Ceibal FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sixto Unai who took care of the corner kick. Vladimiro Bidun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Dario Goyo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dario Goyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimiro Bidun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, Mogotes's Melchor Bizen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Damaso Osoro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vladimiro Bidun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dario Goyo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Veremundo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Ceibal FC had won after a very even match.
