If Donato Telesforo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Amador Aresti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Bernardo Montrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Puchuzún's Bernardo Montrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amador Aresti in the 13th minute of play. Adrian Celino was a little too slow when Americo Eliazar got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-0. Adrian Celino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Americo Eliazar in the 21st minute of play. Adrian Celino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Americo Eliazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Amador Aresti had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amador Aresti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo Montrell having to interfere. Benicio Mede fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Celino having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Puchuzún's Americo Eliazar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Adrian Celino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Rodriguez's goal looked a bit too open when Americo Eliazar came free, but Adrian Celino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After a defensive mix-up in Puchuzún's zone, Orlando Teofilio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Montrell came out of the goal and Orlando Teofilio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 53 played minutes Puchuzún got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Laurentzi. Amador Aresti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Bernardo Montrell made a huge save. Benicio Mede's late challenge caught a Rodriguez's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benicio Mede helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Rodriguez booed when Puchuzún was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benicio Mede didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Orlando Teofilio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bernardo Montrell, 1-1. Donato Telesforo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Adrian Celino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardo Montrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Teofilio in the 65th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Elvio Laurentzi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Puchuzún's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rodriguez the free kick. In the 68th match minute, Puchuzún was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvio Laurentzi to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute Orlando Teofilio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Montrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Americo Eliazar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adrian Celino having to make a save. A collision led to Puchuzún getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Ulises Enaut hit a great ball. After 76th play minutes Amador Aresti shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Bernardo Montrell and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 80th minute, Americo Eliazar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adrian Celino was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Elvio Laurentzi kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. With his leg Bernardo Montrell managed to avoid a goal in the 83rdth minute, when Rodriguez's Amador Aresti fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a rather tough play, Puchuzún's Elvio Laurentzi got a free kick in the 84th minute. When Orlando Teofilio came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Rodriguez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlando Teofilio couldn't finish the play. Elvio Laurentzi kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Adrian Celino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Donato Telesforo in the 92nd minute of play. Adrian Celino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Americo Eliazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute.
