Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gaston Bixintxo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ruben Abel charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruben Abel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 7 played minutes Crespo FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Bixintxo. The audience was convinced that Gilberto Frasco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Teodoro Sadurni was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Gilberto Frasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 17 minutes, Ruben Abel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gowlan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruben Abel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 20 minutes into the game, Rigoberto Luzaide was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Crespo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gowlan the free kick. Teodoro Sadurni made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Ruben Abel sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilberto Frasco in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teodoro Sadurni saved Crespo FC from getting behind. Leonel Oskitz's late challenge caught a Crespo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonel Oskitz helped the player get up and apologised. Leonel Oskitz hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gaston Bixintxo in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Venancio Guifre prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Crespo FC's Teodoro Sadurni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Frasco in the 31st minute of play. Venancio Guifre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaston Bixintxo in the 36th minute of play. Gaston Bixintxo scored 0-1 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Venancio Guifre, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 43 minutes into the match, Crespo FC's Marcos Natanael sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Venancio Guifre narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Teo Donostia hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Teodoro Sadurni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Piarres in the 47th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gilberto Frasco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gilberto Frasco in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teodoro Sadurni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Venancio Guifre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaston Bixintxo, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Gaston Bixintxo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Venancio Guifre tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Marcos Natanael ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Venancio Guifre was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Marcos Natanael could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Venancio Guifre made a huge save. 80 minutes into the match, Crespo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Abel came free, but Teodoro Sadurni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Gilberto Frasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruben Abel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ruben Abel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Severiano Ostargi's late challenge caught a Gowlan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Severiano Ostargi helped the player get up and apologised. After 95 played minutes Crespo FC got a freekick which was hit by Severiano Ostargi. The Crespo FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Crespo FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
