Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gálvez's Ivan Santxol started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Timoteo Iraitz came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Gálvez's Melquiades Toro. But to his dismay, Melquiades Toro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Eustaquio Flor's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 9thth minute, Arnoldo Isadore skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Eustaquio Flor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Melquiades Toro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, Gualeguaychú's Eustaquio Flor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arnoldo Isadore narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gálvez's Arnoldo Isadore proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Gálvez from getting a goal against them. In the 29th minute, Denis Gombal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnoldo Isadore made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Eustaquio Flor sent off a good shot on target. Eustaquio Flor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Arnoldo Isadore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gualeguaychú's Timoteo Iraitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melquiades Toro in the 44th minute of play. Melquiades Toro struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Timoteo Iraitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gálvez. Timoteo Iraitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Toro in the 48th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonel Ted made a kick off. Arnoldo Isadore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Ted, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ariel Elodio kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. Ariel Elodio charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ariel Elodio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Gálvez getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Ariel Elodio hit a great ball. After 60 played minutes Gálvez got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Elodio. In the 68th minute Leonel Ted shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Isadore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Melquiades Toro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Eustaquio Flor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Ivan Santxol got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Eustaquio Flor came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Gualeguaychú fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustaquio Flor couldn't finish the play. Arnoldo Isadore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eustaquio Flor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 95th match minute, Gualeguaychú was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mannie to maneuver through the defense. Melquiades Toro charged in rather forcefully in the 99th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Melquiades Toro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Gálvez walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
