Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Federico Cordera started the match with the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eustaquio Flor in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Antonio Ramone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eustaquio Flor in the 6th minute of play forced Ojeda's goalkeeper Antonio Ramone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Angelo Joanes during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 10 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gualeguaychú! Timoteo Iraitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Federico Cordera, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 20 minutes into the game, Eustaquio Flor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Antonio Ramone was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 23 minutes into the game, Ojeda's German Oton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Timoteo Iraitz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. A collision led to Ojeda getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Nestor Paulin hit a great ball. When Gualeguaychú's Eustaquio Flor in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ojeda's goalie prevented a goal. If Eustaquio Flor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. German Oton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Isaias Panfilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonel Ted in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Antonio Ramone saved Ojeda from getting behind. Federico Cordera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 44th match minute, Gualeguaychú was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Joanes to maneuver through the defense. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonel Ted made a kick off. Antonio Ramone didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eustaquio Flor went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After having played for 67 minutes, Federico Cordera managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ojeda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Federico Cordera was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Federico Cordera came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Ojeda fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Federico Cordera couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustaquio Flor got free with Antonio Ramone in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Gualeguaychú getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Leonel Ted hit a great ball. Federico Cordera struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Timoteo Iraitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ojeda. In the 87th minute, German Oton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 93rd match minute, Gualeguaychú was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Ted to maneuver through the defense. Timoteo Iraitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from German Oton, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
