Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jaime Lorencio started the match with the kick off. Arnulfo Ospetsu kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. If Teodoro Venerando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute, Jaime Lorencio made a precise shot to the right of Elpidio Dalmai. Caraguatay FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 15th minute, Teodoro Venerando got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elpidio Dalmai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodoro Venerando in the 19th minute of play. Elpidio Dalmai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Lorencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Tomás Huly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Amadeo Basajaun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Ermegildo Faron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ermegildo Faron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amadeo Basajaun, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Amadeo Basajaun sped through Antinaco FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ermegildo Faron. In the 33rd minute, Jaime Lorencio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Antinaco FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Teodoro Venerando sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amadeo Basajaun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ermegildo Faron read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. A collision led to Antinaco FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Silverio Chus hit a great ball. A nice corner shot did that Florentino Cordareo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ermegildo Faron quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amadeo Basajaun to make the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Antinaco FC! Jaime Lorencio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Dalmai having to interfere. Jaime Lorencio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Elpidio Dalmai tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Antinaco FC's Jaime Lorencio in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Caraguatay FC's goalie prevented a goal. If Teodoro Venerando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, Caraguatay FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jaime Lorencio came free, but Elpidio Dalmai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Caraguatay FC's Silvestre Chano got a free kick in the 69th minute. Ermegildo Faron stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomás Huly's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. Caraguatay FC's Tomás Huly got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 84 minutes, Joel Karlo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Antinaco FC and the Caraguatay FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joel Karlo hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. When Arnulfo Ospetsu fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caraguatay FC's protests and gave Arnulfo Ospetsu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Antinaco FC booed when Caraguatay FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnulfo Ospetsu didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jaime Lorencio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodoro Venerando blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elpidio Dalmai having to make a save. The Caraguatay FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Antinaco FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
