Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 7 minutes, Nestor Pepillo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pilar's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nestor Pepillo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 12th minute, but Julian Maore got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Monsalvo AFC hanging dry this time. Valentin Bermund fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julian Maore having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Pepillo in the 16th minute of play forced Monsalvo AFC's goalkeeper Julian Maore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Valentin Bermund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 18th minute Nestor Pepillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Maore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leopoldo Onofre took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hipolito Milio. Hipolito Milio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After 22 minutes, Ramon Uzuri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monsalvo AFC and the Pilar players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Pilar booed when Monsalvo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramon Uzuri didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Pepillo in the 24th minute of play forced Monsalvo AFC's goalkeeper Julian Maore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute, Leopoldo Onofre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hipolito Milio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Nestor Pepillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pilar's supporters rose to their feet, but Nestor Pepillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julian Maore breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomás Mede's late challenge caught a Pilar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tomás Mede helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Monsalvo AFC's Tomás Mede got a free kick in the 36th minute. Julian Maore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nestor Pepillo in the 37th minute of play. Pilar's Nestor Pepillo got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 45 minutes, Haroldo Abilio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monsalvo AFC and the Pilar players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Monsalvo AFC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Haroldo Abilio hit a great ball. Julian Maore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Pepillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.
Valentin Bermund received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Julian Maore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Monsalvo AFC's Leopoldo Onofre in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pilar's goalie prevented a goal. Santos Patxi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Hipolito Milio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Leopoldo Onofre came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Monsalvo AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leopoldo Onofre couldn't finish the play. Leopoldo Onofre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Hipolito Milio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Monsalvo AFC's Haroldo Abilio got a free kick in the 65th minute. Paulo Chucho struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Julian Maore didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pilar. Leopoldo Onofre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Hipolito Milio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Monsalvo AFC's goalkeeper Julian Maore, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Santos Patxi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ramon Uzuri was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 87 minutes had been played. In the 88th minute, Ramon Uzuri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 92nd minute, Nestor Pepillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Valentin Bermund came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Pilar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentin Bermund couldn't finish the play. The Pilar fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Monsalvo AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
