Fausto Belmiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eustaquio Frascuelo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fausto Belmiro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lisandro Lalla went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The long shot by Celestino Hermon in the 24th minute really tested Ciro Liher's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ciro Liher took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ambrosio Lapurdi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Ambrosio Lapurdi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciro Liher saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciro Liher made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Eusebio Abadie sent off a good shot on target. When Sergio Olando came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Carmen AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergio Olando couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ambrosio Lapurdi in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ciro Liher saved Aguadita AFC from getting behind. When Ambrosio Lapurdi came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Carmen AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ambrosio Lapurdi couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Ambrosio Lapurdi made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Lisandro Lalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ambrosio Lapurdi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ciro Liher stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ambrosio Lapurdi's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Ambrosio Lapurdi sped through Aguadita AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ciro Liher. Eusebio Abadie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Liher having to interfere. Fausto Belmiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eustaquio Frascuelo in the 69th minute of the match. Ciro Liher stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ambrosio Lapurdi's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. A long shot from Honorio Ospin in the 82nd minute of play was well struck, but Fausto Belmiro made a really good save at the right post. Lisandro Lalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute, Lisandro Lalla got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
