Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jonatan Confesor got the match started through his kick off. Sergio Froylan succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 5th playminute. Domingo Cugat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Florentino Fidencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonatan Confesor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florentino Fidencio having to interfere. Cristo Florian's late challenge caught a Caraguatay FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristo Florian helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th match minute, Acostilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristo Florian to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Acostilla's zone, Fausto Pelagius stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Eskuin came out of the goal and Fausto Pelagius tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sergio Froylan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Alfonso Eskuin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sergio Froylan got free with Alfonso Eskuin in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Acostilla's Alfonso Eskuin got control of the ball when Sergio Froylan tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 29 minutes of play, Acostilla's Domingo Cugat made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Florentino Fidencio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 37th minute Fausto Pelagius shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfonso Eskuin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Acostilla getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Eustacio Oliverio hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fausto Pelagius to make the kick off. If Jonatan Confesor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Pelagius in the 53rd minute of play forced Acostilla's goalkeeper Alfonso Eskuin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Samuel Abar kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. With his leg Florentino Fidencio managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Acostilla's Domingo Cugat fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Jonatan Confesor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Acostilla booed when Caraguatay FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustacio Honrio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Jonatan Confesor reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Florentino Fidencio. The goal made the score 1-2. Alfonso Eskuin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fermin Amor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 1-3 became the score in the 77th minute when Domingo Cugat elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Samuel Abar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 91st minute, Samuel Abar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Caraguatay FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Acostilla were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Caraguatay FC's much stronger midfield.
