Guaberto Cordera's late challenge caught a Lavalle's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guaberto Cordera helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Languiñeo FC getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Guaberto Cordera hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the match, Languiñeo FC's Rigoberto Lia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Maximiliano Galtero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Maximiliano Galtero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Lia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximiliano Galtero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermegildo Belmiro in the 22nd minute of play. After having played for 25 minutes, Bonifacio Ferran managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Languiñeo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bonifacio Ferran was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rigoberto Lia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Rigoberto Lia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Languiñeo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rigoberto Lia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maximiliano Galtero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Procopio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Florentino Eufemio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lavalle's Maximiliano Galtero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rigoberto Lia in the 43rd minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bonifacio Ferran was the one to do the kick off. Rigoberto Lia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Maximiliano Galtero made a huge save. Maximiliano Galtero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rigoberto Lia went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Bonifacio Ferran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Galtero having to interfere. When the match had been going on for 76 minutes, Languiñeo FC's Natalio Martino got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Maximiliano Galtero. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Ezequiel Gutierrez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lavalle's supporters rose to their feet, but Ezequiel Gutierrez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 96th minute, Tomas Procopio made a precise shot to the right of Florentino Eufemio. Languiñeo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Languiñeo FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
