Uspallata AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eusebio Reynardo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isaias Sotil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 19th minute of the match, Elias Pudes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Octavio Burutzagi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 20th match minute, Uspallata AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Lia to maneuver through the defense. 27 minutes into the match, Almona AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Camerino came free, but Isaias Sotil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carmelo Lia charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carmelo Lia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Carmelo Lia hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

If Lino Errando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Almona AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Uspallata AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
