Gabriel Diegotxe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Juan Bilintx made a huge save. Fabian Tonete struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Ramon Leobardo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Naranjito. Juan Bilintx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paolo Lazcano in the 11th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Gabriel Diegotxe managed to get in a good position for a shot. Animán's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Diegotxe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Juan Bilintx breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Celso James kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Guillermo Galeno took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 20th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ramon Leobardo. Animán's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Benito Bidun charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benito Bidun the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Benito Bidun kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Fabian Tonete took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramon Leobardo. Ramon Leobardo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabian Tonete made a kick off. Paolo Lazcano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Juan Bilintx read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Diegotxe in the 78th minute of play forced Naranjito's goalkeeper Juan Bilintx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute Celso James suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Benito Bidun got his second yellow card in the match during the 81st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 83 played minutes, Animán's Generoso Gaztea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Juan Bilintx came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Animán reached it. 85 minutes into the match, Naranjito's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Diegotxe came free, but Juan Bilintx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Diegotxe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Bilintx having to interfere. Anastasio Luzea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Ramon Leobardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Naranjito had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
