Gabriel Diegotxe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Gamus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Lazcano in the 18th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Sevingé:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Animán:s goal. In the 26th minute Paolo Lazcano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Gamus saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delmiro Bonadonas short, quick shot in the 28thth minute got Ramon Leobardo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Uriel Oihenarte hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Marcelino Javiar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Ramon Leobardo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 32 minutes, Ramon Leobardo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 35th minute, one of Animán:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Animán. In the 44th minute, Ruperto Lore hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paolo Lazcano was the one to do the kick off. The Animán fans' excitement grew in the 55th match minute when Animán's Paolo Lazcano looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Delmiro Bonadona struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. If Delmiro Bonadona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
