The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Honorio Tulio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vinicio Ixidor in the 7th minute of the match. If Hernan Maiorga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute, Conrado Montez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hernan Maiorga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Severiano Rozarius having to make a save. In the 20th minute, Moreira's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Donato Hulberto fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Donato Hulberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorio Tulio having to interfere. Honorio Tulio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vinicio Ixidor in the 32nd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Godfredo Castulo during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th match minute, Arteaga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Godfredo Castulo to maneuver through the defense. Hernan Maiorga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the match, Moreira's goal looked a bit too open when Vinicio Ixidor came free, but Honorio Tulio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Conrado Montez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Severiano Rozarius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Conrado Montez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Severiano Rozarius read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. In the 47thth minute of the game Vinicio Ixidor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Moreira's Honorio Tulio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hernan Maiorga made a kick off. Severiano Rozarius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Amor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelo Orlanda in the 55th minute of play forced Moreira's goalkeeper Honorio Tulio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Moreira's Honorio Tulio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Hulberto in the 58th minute of play. Donato Hulberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Honorio Tulio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Conrado Montez got free with Severiano Rozarius in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Conrado Montez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Vinicio Ixidor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arteaga FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Donato Hulberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Severiano Rozarius made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Conrado Montez sent off a good shot on target. Arteaga FC's Severiano Rozarius proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Arteaga FC from getting a goal against them. Conrado Montez struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Severiano Rozarius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Moreira. After 91 minutes, Ceferino Erroman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Moreira and the Arteaga FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st match minute, Moreira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ceferino Erroman to maneuver through the defense. Vinicio Ixidor's late challenge caught a Moreira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vinicio Ixidor helped the player get up and apologised. In the 93rd match minute, Arteaga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Ixidor to maneuver through the defense.
