Nicanor Orlin kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. When Aurelia AFC's Mauricio Sengrat, in the 25th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Aurelia AFC. Severo Maureo made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Mauricio Sengrat sent off a good shot on target. Mauricio Sengrat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Aurelia AFC booed when Murphy FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicanor Orlin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isaac Oihan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Severo Maureo having to interfere. Severo Maureo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mauricio Sengrat in the 45th minute. The Aurelia AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Murphy FC were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isaac Oihan to make the kick off. If Erasmo Claus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 57 played minutes, Aurelia AFC's Herminio Flor shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Severo Maureo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Aurelia AFC reached it. Honorato Jusepe hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Erasmo Claus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicanor Orlin kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Severo Maureo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaac Oihan in the 66th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Murphy FC's zone, Mauricio Sengrat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Severo Maureo came out of the goal and Mauricio Sengrat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 75 minutes, Arnoldo Rudolfo took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Marcelo Ourente to make any attempt to save it. Alejandro Eron scored 1-2 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Severo Maureo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 92nd minute of the match, Nicanor Orlin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marcelo Ourente saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Murphy FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
