In the 19th match minute, Andalgalá AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaston Laurentzi to maneuver through the defense. Americo Gustau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Phelipe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafael Ebardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiberto Gaueko having to interfere. In the 29th minute Teodoro Charro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filiberto Gaueko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andalgalá AFC's Rafael Ebardo got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute, Rafael Ebardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Luis Presebal fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Andalgalá AFC's protests and gave Luis Presebal a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Andalgalá AFC getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Luis Presebal hit a great ball. Americo Gustau stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Diego Phelipe's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Rafael Ebardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Filiberto Gaueko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Canalejas AFC's Filiberto Gaueko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Ebardo in the 45th minute of play. When Rafael Ebardo came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Andalgalá AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Ebardo couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Diego Phelipe stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Isidro Peruanton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Canalejas AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Isidro Peruanton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Americo Gustau breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teodoro Charro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Canalejas AFC's Augusto Jesco got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Andalgalá AFC's goalkeeper Americo Gustau, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teodoro Charro in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filiberto Gaueko saved Canalejas AFC from getting behind. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Andalgalá AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
