When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Cesar Arias sped through Chalacea AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Placido Cuartio. Cesar Arias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cesar Arias might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Placido Cuartio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cesar Arias ran back to his position shaking his head. After 24 minutes of play, Mogote's Zeledon Toli made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Placido Cuartio was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Mogote booed when Chalacea AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leopoldo Jerico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chalacea AFC's Placido Cuartio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeledon Toli in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of Mogote booed when Chalacea AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feliciano Lehior didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Humberto Gelmiro during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th minute, Humberto Gelmiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Mogote's Cesar Arias in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chalacea AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Samuel Grabiel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chalacea AFC. In the 57thth minute of the game Ramon Playo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mogote's Samuel Grabiel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zeledon Toli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Placido Cuartio made a huge save. With a little luck, Chalacea AFC's Placido Cuartio got control of the ball when Zeledon Toli tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 74th minute Ramon Playo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Grabiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Placido Cuartio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesar Arias in the 79th minute of the match. After 79 played minutes Chalacea AFC got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Gutierrez. Samuel Grabiel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Bernard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 83 minutes, Cesar Arias managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mogote's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesar Arias was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Humberto Gelmiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Cuartio having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Humberto Gelmiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mogote had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
