Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Angelino Domeka took the kick off in the first half of the match. Godofredo Telesforo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Saul Admon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 8th play minutes Angelino Domeka shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Fermin Jakes and just under the crossbar into goal. If Angelino Domeka had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ayacucho FC's Fermin Jakes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiro Txerran in the 16th minute of play. Godofredo Telesforo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 20th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Zeledon Manni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Godofredo Telesforo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute Zeledon Manni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Saul Admon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Godofredo Telesforos short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Saul Admon to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Zeledon Manni received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Saul Admon came out and tried to block the shot, but Zeledon Manni slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 37th minute. Fermin Jakes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimiro Txerran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Ayacucho FC's Ceferino Berbiz got a free kick in the 44th minute. Vladimiro Txerran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Jakes having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Saul Admon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zeledon Manni in the 54th minute of the match. When Gouin AFC's Angelino Domeka in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ayacucho FC's goalie prevented a goal. Vladimiro Txerran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Jakes having to interfere. When Vladimiro Txerran came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Gouin AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vladimiro Txerran couldn't finish the play. In the 67th minute Angelino Domeka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fermin Jakes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelino Domeka in the 70th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fermin Jakes saved Ayacucho FC from getting behind. Godofredo Telesforo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Saul Admon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vladimiro Txerran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Saul Admon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Godofredo Telesforo's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Saul Admon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeledon Manni in the 80th minute of play. With a little luck, Ayacucho FC's Fermin Jakes got control of the ball when Vladimiro Txerran tried to sneak it across the goal line. With an all-out effort, Gouin AFC's Fermin Jakes threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Angelino Domeka, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Vladimiro Txerran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fermin Jakes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Domeka in the 90th minute of play. After 94 played minutes, Gouin AFC's Alejo Columbo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fermin Jakes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gouin AFC reached it. Godofredo Telesforo scored 2-1 in the 97th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Saul Admon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gouin AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
