Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Zeledon Manni got the match started through his kick off. Ayacucho FC's Fermin Jakes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Bazkoare in the 5th minute of play. A collision led to Rangel AFC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Eulalio Artizar hit a great ball. Cornelio Quinito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeledon Manni, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute, Godofredo Telesforo made a precise shot to the right of Cornelio Quinito. Rangel AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Raul Bazkoare received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Fermin Jakes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Ayacucho FC defense, Marcelino Oihan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fermin Jakes. The Ayacucho FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fermin Jakes should have stopped the shot. Zeledon Manni struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Cornelio Quinito didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ayacucho FC. Blas Qwinton kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Artemio Eguntsenti's shot from long distance in the 23rd minute was not bad at all, but Rangel AFC's Cornelio Quinito knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Fermin Jakes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Oihan, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 26 minutes Ayacucho FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hipolito Goyo who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Rangel AFC's Delmiro Navarro getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. If Marcelino Oihan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 31 minutes, Marcelino Oihan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rangel AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelino Oihan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rangel AFC's goalkeeper Cornelio Quinito, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Raul Bazkoare struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Fermin Jakes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rangel AFC. Zeledon Manni was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 42nd minute. Ayacucho FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raul Bazkoare was the one to do the kick off. Cornelio Quinito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Godofredo Telesforo in the 54th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Ayacucho FC's goalkeeper Fermin Jakes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcelino Oihan. After having played for 72 minutes, Raul Bazkoare managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rangel AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Bazkoare was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcelino Oihan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th minute, Godofredo Telesforo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ayacucho FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Artemio Eguntsenti kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Hipolito Goyo shot from long distance in the 92nd minute, but Fermin Jakes was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Cornelio Quinito showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zeledon Manni, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, Ayacucho FC could leave the field as winners, despite Rangel AFC having more of the ball for most of the match.
