Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Pedro Santiago started the match with the kick off. Cipriano Panpili showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Santiago, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Pedro Santiago received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Cipriano Panpili tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dalmacio Garci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Quintan having to interfere. Domingos Quintan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abelardo Froylan in the 22nd minute of play. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Maximo Uzuri sped through Chilibroste's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cipriano Panpili. Aurelio Breogan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingos Quintan having to interfere. The Chilibroste players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Alvear were winning 0-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dalmacio Garci stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Domingos Quintan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelio Breogan, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 54 minutes into the match, Dalmacio Garci had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Domingos Quintan. Alvear's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dalmacio Garci was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. In the 58th minute, Alvear's Valentin Cesaro ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cipriano Panpili. Cipriano Panpili yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Pedro Santiago charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Santiago the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 62 minutes into the game, Jeronimo Hug was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chilibroste's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alvear the free kick. After a rather tough play, Chilibroste's Jeronimo Hug got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 65th match minute, Chilibroste was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abelardo Froylan to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Alvear's Aureliano Jakes tried to score from far away in the 65th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Maximo Uzuri made a precise shot to the right of Cipriano Panpili. Chilibroste's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. Alvear's Maximo Uzuri got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aurelio Breogan during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 76th minute, Aurelio Breogan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Severino Marques's late challenge caught a Chilibroste's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Severino Marques helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Alvear getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Severino Marques hit a great ball. Rodrigo Sansone took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Domingos Quintan. Alvear's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Maximo Uzuri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute of the match, Valentin Cesaro got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cipriano Panpili was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Alvear's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
