In the 4th minute Victoriano Mannuel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristo Loco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristo Loco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Modesto Telmo, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. If Augusto Txatxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adolfo Clemencin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adolfo Pirro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Txatxu in the 13th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Pilcaniyeu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Txatxu came free, but Adolfo Pirro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute, Florentina's Augusto Txatxu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Adolfo Pirro. Adolfo Pirro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adolfo Clemencin got free with Adolfo Pirro in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adolfo Pirro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adolfo Clemencin in the 26th minute. Modesto Telmo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristo Loco having to interfere. Adolfo Pirro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Augusto Txatxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pilcaniyeu FC's zone, Augusto Txatxu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adolfo Pirro came out of the goal and Augusto Txatxu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Modesto Telmo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Cristo Loco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Augusto Txatxu made a kick off. Victoriano Mannuel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Cristo Loco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristo Loco was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Victoriano Mannuel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 57 minute of play. Florentina's Cristo Loco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Florentina from getting a goal against them. In the 63rd minute, Adolfo Clemencin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Victoriano Mannuel came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Pilcaniyeu FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victoriano Mannuel couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hugo Buinton got free with Cristo Loco in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Adolfo Clemencin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augusto Txatxu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adolfo Pirro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Augusto Txatxu went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Pilcaniyeu FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
