Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Carmelo Enaut started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joel Perico during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Palantelén booed when Tapias AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Perico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tapias AFC's Rogelio Hunfredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Bizen in the 4th minute of play. Marcos Naelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 20 minutes of play, Palantelén's Esteve Bizen made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rogelio Hunfredo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Froilan Lamberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Edgardo Segio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcos Naelio struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Rogelio Hunfredo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palantelén. The audience was convinced that Esteve Bizen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rogelio Hunfredo was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. Tapias AFC's Rogelio Hunfredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Esteve Bizen in the 43rd minute of play. Palantelén's Edgardo Segio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Enaut in the 46th minute of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcos Naelio was the one to do the kick off. Froilan Lamberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, Tapias AFC's Rogelio Hunfredo got control of the ball when Esteve Bizen tried to sneak it across the goal line. Palantelén's Esteve Bizen got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Froilan Lamberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 68 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Palantelén! The referee gave Tapias AFC a penalty, 69 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Benedicto Roano, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Palantelén's Edgardo Segio. 2-1. The supporters of Tapias AFC booed when Palantelén was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsenio Leobardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edgardo Segio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Enaut in the 75th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Palantelén's zone, Carmelo Enaut stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgardo Segio came out of the goal and Carmelo Enaut tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Froilan Lamberto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tapias AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Froilan Lamberto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edgardo Segio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ubaldo Emesto's late challenge caught a Tapias AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ubaldo Emesto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 82nd minute, Ubaldo Emesto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Froilan Lamberto in the 88th minute of play forced Palantelén's goalkeeper Edgardo Segio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 90 minutes, Froilan Lamberto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tapias AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Froilan Lamberto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcos Naelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Hunfredo having to interfere. Rogelio Hunfredo made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Esteve Bizen sent off a good shot on target. When Tapias AFC's Froilan Lamberto in the 98th minute got a chance for a shot 98th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Palantelén's goalie prevented a goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
