The referee ignored Vieytes's protests and gave Gaston Endura a yellow card for diving instead. Federico Bilbo charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After 52 played minutes Vieytes got a freekick which was hit by Federico Bilbo. 55 minutes into the match, Amador Txanton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eleuterio Frasco. Vieytes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amador Txanton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. If Evelio Mendebal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 65 minutes into the match, Carrizalito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Evelio Mendebal came free, but Arnoldo Nerio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eleuterio Frasco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Kiliz, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ceferino Kiliz in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eleuterio Frasco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Baltasar Clemencin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eleuterio Frasco. Vieytes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Evelio Mendebal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
