After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Victoriano Neto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pereyra's supporters rose to their feet, but Victoriano Neto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Casimiro Rodas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcelino Miliano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victoriano Neto to strike the kick off in the second half. Filiberto Walme kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Silvano Euloxu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damaso Rito, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. A collision led to Pereyra getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Valentin Confesor hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, Marcelino Miliano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Pereyra's Silvestre Quico got a free kick in the 59th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pereyra's zone, Damaso Rito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvano Euloxu came out of the goal and Damaso Rito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Marcelino Miliano was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 62nd minute. Marini's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 65 minutes into the match, Marini's Marcelino Miliano sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Silvano Euloxu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Marcelino Miliano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Victoriano Neto notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Marini's Casimiro Rodas. Casimiro Rodas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Victoriano Neto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 79th match minute, Marini was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo Endura to maneuver through the defense. In the 82ndth minute of the game Luis Dino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marini's Casimiro Rodas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marcelino Miliano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvano Euloxu having to interfere. Marcelino Miliano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Silvano Euloxu made a huge save. Silvano Euloxu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damaso Rito in the 89th minute of play. In the 90th match minute, Pereyra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Socorro to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 91 minutes, Damaso Rito managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marini's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damaso Rito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Damaso Rito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pereyra had won after a very even match.
