The referee ignored Vilo's protests and gave Angelino Rosario a yellow card for diving instead. After 29 played minutes Sarmiento got a freekick which was hit by Florentino Cordero. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Mattin in the 37th minute of play forced Sarmiento's goalkeeper Tomás Tello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Mauro Diagur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomás Tello was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. Tomás Tello stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mauro Diagur's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. In the 75th match minute, Vilo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Ilazki to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the game, Domingos Cilio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Timoteo Shepherd was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Eusebio Mattin might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tomás Tello. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eusebio Mattin ran back to his position shaking his head. 85 minutes into the match, Vilo's goal looked a bit too open when Domingos Cilio came free, but Timoteo Shepherd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Sarmiento getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Esteban Niguel hit a great ball. Angelino Rosario took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tomás Tello. Sarmiento's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Higinio Raymundo kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. If Mauro Diagur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Domingos Cilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sarmiento's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
