Hermengildo Gonsalve sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 8 minutes, Flavio Tulio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Allen FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavio Tulio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Robustiano Bertin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Francisco Cordareo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Ituzaingó's Guido Kiliz got control of the ball when Hermengildo Gonsalve tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hermengildo Gonsalve struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Guido Kiliz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Allen FC. When Edelmiro Semeno fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Allen FC's protests and gave Edelmiro Semeno a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Ituzaingó booed when Allen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edelmiro Semeno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Cordareo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santos Gitano in the 32nd minute of the match. Aurelio Mirande kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. If Santos Gitano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurelio Mirande sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Francisco Lastur came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Ituzaingó fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco Lastur couldn't finish the play. Santos Gitano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Flavio Tulio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Flavio Tulio came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Allen FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flavio Tulio couldn't finish the play. In the 53rd minute, Santos Gitano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ituzaingó fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Francisco Cordareo made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Santos Gitano sent off a good shot on target. Flavio Tulio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Guido Kiliz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 64 minutes into the match, Ituzaingó's goal looked a bit too open when Hermengildo Gonsalve came free, but Guido Kiliz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 71st match minute, Allen FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edelmiro Semeno to maneuver through the defense. Guido Kiliz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Gonsalve, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. After 80 played minutes Ituzaingó got a freekick which was hit by Adan Teofilio. Flavio Tulio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Guido Kiliz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hermengildo Gonsalve in the 84th minute of play. If Hermengildo Gonsalve had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the game, Florentino Mikelats was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ituzaingó's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Allen FC the free kick. Santos Gitano's late challenge caught a Allen FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Santos Gitano helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Ituzaingó getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Santos Gitano hit a great ball.
