Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Stayle's Carmelo Lapurdi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, Anibal Karlo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stayle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anibal Karlo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Anibal Karlo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the match, Ayajasco's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Lapurdi came free, but Ladislao Argoitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anibal Karlo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Ladislao Argoitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sixto Gar in the 21st minute of play forced Stayle's goalkeeper Lorenzo Cordairo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Stayle's Carmelo Lapurdi got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carmelo Lapurdi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sixto Gar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lorenzo Cordairo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Gar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ovidio Gaitan got free with Lorenzo Cordairo in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th minute, Sixto Gar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sixto Gar made a kick off. Ladislao Argoitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anibal Karlo in the 54th minute. Jacobo Abar kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. With a little luck, Ayajasco's Ladislao Argoitz got control of the ball when Anibal Karlo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ovidio Gaitan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Lorenzo Cordairo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ladislao Argoitz came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Stayle's Anibal Karlo. But to his dismay, Anibal Karlo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to Ayajasco getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Edgard Vincente hit a great ball. Sixto Gar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Lorenzo Cordairo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 82nd minute of the game. One of Ayajasco:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Stayle:s goal. The goalkeeper, Ladislao Argoitz, was totally fooled by Stayle's Ruperto Herena, who 85 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Cayetano Cresenciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lorenzo Cordairo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ovidio Gaitan's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. 92 minutes into the match, Jacobo Abar notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Stayle's Lorenzo Cordairo. Lorenzo Cordairo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Stayle walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
