But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jacobo Pio couldn't finish the play. Geronimo Jerrold showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacobo Pio, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Jacobo Pio succeeded in the game's 46th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacobo Pio made a kick off. Victorio Ermengol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silverio Tabor having to interfere. When Abelardo Ostadar came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Lopiara FC fans jumped to their feet. Darwin AFC's Silverio Tabor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Darwin AFC from getting a goal against them. After 64 minutes of play, Darwin AFC's Jacobo Pio made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geronimo Jerrold was left in no man's land by his defense there! Silverio Tabor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorio Ermengol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
