Geronimo Jerrold took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Silbestre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 6 minutes, Laureano Garci mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Lopiara FC and the Huanchilla players grew even worse after the yellow card. Paulo Silbestre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Lopiara FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eustaquio Asier came free, but Geronimo Jerrold reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Huanchilla booed when Lopiara FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laureano Garci didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manuel Fidensio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Geronimo Jerrold. Lopiara FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Arnulfo Quentin's late challenge caught a Huanchilla's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnulfo Quentin helped the player get up and apologised. Arnulfo Quentin kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Paulo Silbestre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Jerrold having to interfere. Lopiara FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulo Silbestre was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Geronimo Jerrold showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Silbestre in the 31st minute of the match. Geronimo Jerrold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Asier in the 32nd minute of play. Eustaquio Asier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Jerrold having to interfere. Eustaquio Asier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Geronimo Jerrold tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 54th minute, Arnulfo Endira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matias Francesco hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Lopiara FC's zone, Paulo Silbestre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geronimo Jerrold came out of the goal and Paulo Silbestre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 71st minute of the match Laureano Garci shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Inocencio Eyague showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Huanchilla booed when Lopiara FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laureano Garci didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 76 minutes, Paulo Silbestre managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huanchilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Silbestre was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Paulo Silbestre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huanchilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Silbestre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geronimo Jerrold breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Eustaquio Asier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paulo Silbestre recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. During the 93rd minute of the match Laureano Garci completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Laureano Garci a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Lopiara FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Laureano Garci hit a great ball. Eustaquio Asier was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 96th minute. Huanchilla's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Huanchilla's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
