After a defensive mix-up in Guasayán AFC's zone, Patricio Xabat stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clodoveo Orlanda came out of the goal and Patricio Xabat tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Guasayán AFC's Clodoveo Orlanda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Patricio Xabat in the 40th minute of play. When Guasayán AFC's Benigno Cresconio in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Makallé AFC's goalie prevented a goal. 47 minutes into the match, Guasayán AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Patricio Xabat came free, but Clodoveo Orlanda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Benigno Cresconio made the kick off in the second half. Eulalio Raulo charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The audience thought a goal was coming when Patricio Xabat got free with Clodoveo Orlanda in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 70 played minutes Makallé AFC got a freekick which was hit by Lino Quintun. 76 minutes into the game, Guasayán AFC's Ubaldo Gilabert nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Osvaldo Valery made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Guasayán AFC's Benigno Cresconio got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Osvaldo Valery showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benigno Cresconio in the 86th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Benigno Cresconio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Osvaldo Valery was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Ubaldo Gilabert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldo Valery having to interfere.
