Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ascasubi's Cirilo Seber started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lileo's Jorge Gipuzkoa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Lileo from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Ascasubi booed when Lileo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Jaizki didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute of the match Gerardo Otoniel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jorge Gipuzkoa showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Lisandro Duarte blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jorge Gipuzkoa having to make a save. When Cirilo Seber came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Ascasubi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cirilo Seber couldn't finish the play. Anibal Bastia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Merexildo in the 12th minute of play. Laureano Lordi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lisandro Duarte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorge Gipuzkoa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. Anibal Bastia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Merexildo in the 29th minute of play. Lisandro Duarte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Jorge Gipuzkoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 34th minute Cirilo Seber shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jorge Gipuzkoa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Lisandro Duarte kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jorge Gipuzkoa. That made the score 1-0 in the 36 minute of play. A collision led to Ascasubi getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Benigno Claris hit a great ball. Victor Salvino was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 43rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabio Merexildo to strike the kick off in the second half. Cirilo Seber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Jorge Gipuzkoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lileo's Jorge Gipuzkoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Seber in the 54th minute of play. Lisandro Duarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ascasubi's zone, Fabio Merexildo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anibal Bastia came out of the goal and Fabio Merexildo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Laureano Lordi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lileo's Jorge Gipuzkoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cirilo Seber in the 66th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Lisandro Duarte managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ascasubi's supporters rose to their feet, but Lisandro Duarte was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jorge Gipuzkoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Cirilo Seber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the match, Lileo's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Seber came free, but Jorge Gipuzkoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Lileo's Victor Salvino got a free kick in the 88th minute. Ascasubi's Cirilo Seber got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Cirilo Seber sped through Lileo's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jorge Gipuzkoa. For all the effort they put into the match, the Lileo players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Ascasubi.
